A sixth festival laurel added to the lineup. Which means that of the six festivals that have announced their official selections, “Finding Emmaus” has been chosen for ALL SIX!
IT’S HAPPENED AGAIN!
Festival number 6, the Santa Barbara International Diverse Writers Screenplay Awards Festival, has selected my screenplay, “Finding Emmaus,” as a semi-finalist! The following article isn’t about “Finding Emmaus,” but it’s something I wrote about community and camaraderie and how important those two aspects of human interaction are. Putting the PDF here seems to be the only way I can get it onto Facebook. So here it is. Hope you enjoy it! ![]()
EXCITING UPDATE:
The status of “Finding Emmaus,” my TV pilot screenplay, has just been upgraded from “official selection” to “NOMINEE” at the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival! Category: Best Unproduced Short Screenplay. Feeling SOOOO grateful! Of the five festivals that have announced their official selections, “Finding Emmaus” has been chosen for ALL FIVE!
HOLY-MOLY - a FIFTH film festival has chosen "Finding Emmaus" as an Official Selection! This time it is the Georgia Shorts Film Festival in Atlanta, GA. I am SO grateful, so humbled.
Oh, my gosh - a FOURTH film festival! My “Finding Emmaus” TV pilot screenplay is really making waves! I am so awed and grateful.
I am no longer "going to be" a Harvard graduate ---- as of today I AM a Harvard graduate. Thank you, God, for giving me such an amazing gift: the ability to write.
